Kingston Market Place will host the Kingston Christmas Market once again as it boasts 20 market stalls from local traders, a vintage carousel and live music every evening! You’ll find a treasure trove of handmade items in the traditional chalets alongside mulled wine and street food. You’ll also find the ‘Fire Pit’ outside All Saints Church to toast marshmallows from 4pm, Thursday to Sunday.
Opening times for the market are 10am to 6pm Sunday to Wednesday and 10am to 8pm Thursday to Sunday. It’s open until 31st December and more details can be found here.
The Rose Theatre houses a Christmas show annually, and this year you can be enchanted by ‘The Snow Queen’, based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen.
This glittering new adaption comprises members of the Rose Youth Theatre alongside a professional cast, and tells the tale of a teenager, Gerda, discovering she is a child of magic. Gerda must travel to the Frozen North on a perilous adventure to save her best friend, Kai, from the clutches of the Snow Queen. ‘The Snow Queen’ opens on Friday 13th December.
The Rose Theatre will also be showing ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’ on 18th December!
